The Story Of Smack-Dab Dobermans

Kathy Fay has been training and breeding Dobermans since 1980 striving for structurally sound dogs with outstanding temperaments and strong working drives. She spent 35 years as a professional dog trainer/behaviorist at her own training facility teaching all levels of obedience and agility. Kathy has personally trained and attained over 200+ titles on her own personal Dobermans. All litters are bred for health and longevity. All dogs used in Kathy's breeding program are American Bred Dobermans, OFA hip rated Excellent or Good, CERF eye clearances normal, Thyroid Checked, VWD Tested, Full mouth and DNA Tested for both DCM1 & DCM2 Canine Dilated Cardiomyopathy Mutation Gene. Puppies are either Black & Rust or Red & Rust. I do not breed Blues or Fawns. We do not condone or support the breeding of the "White"/Albino Doberman as it is a genetic mutation.

Smack-Dab Bitches have been awarded the Doberman Pinscher Club Of America's Bitch, Producing the Most Performance Titled Offspring in 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, & 2004. Smack-Dab has also been awarded by the DPCA, Breeder Producing The Most Performance Titles for 1999, 2003, & 2004. Unfortunately, DPCA stopped this recognition to breeders and dogs in 2005.
